
PAAMA USA is led by a National President, three Vice Presidents and a National Executive, as well as Regional Presidents and their Executives. The women have a parallel structure led by the National Lajna President who is also under the leadership of the National PAAMA President.
PAAMA is fortunate to be under the direct supervision and guidance of the Supreme Head of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community – His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V (May Allah strengthen his hands), who takes a keen interest in the affairs of the Association.
Current President
Professor Basiyr D. Rodney
Rodney was appointed to the Presidency of the Association by his holiness Khalifatul Masih V (May Allah Strengthen his hands). During his tenure Basiyr has worked to support engagement and activity across PAAMA through gathering activities, strengthening the membership and engaging in outreach around faith, social justice and communication. He leads in the view that the revolutionary principles that Islam promotes are transformative both at the individual and social level. He is guided by the teachings of peace as presented in the Islamic faith. Dr. Rodney strives towards building a community that is defined by the teaching “Love for all, Hatred for none.”



In addition to serving as President of the Pan African Ahmadiyya Muslim Association, Rodney is a professor of education technology at Webster University in Saint Louis Missouri.
Born in Kingston Jamaica, Dr. Rodney has lived in South Florida and Saint Louis Missouri. He currently lives in Saint Louis Missouri with his wife Tamara and their three children.
